History
The Star Theater opened between 1913 and 1917, or perhaps even sooner, as a single-screen movie theater in Historic Downtown Toccoa.
In the early days of silent pictures, there would have been a pianist playing along to whatever movie was being shown, and later, a record player would have filled this role as technology improved.
Amenities
After an extensive restoration process in 2016 The Star is now equipped with all the modern amenities for an event venue from heating and air, to a prep kitchen and a beautiful sound and projector system.
Opportunities
The Venue has the opportunity to be used in so many ways. Some examples would be Weddings, Showers, Parties, Wedding Receptions, Rehearsal Dinners, Reunions, Concerts, Corporate Events, or pop ups such as dance classes, yoga classes or community events.
With the ability to seat up to 160 people for an event the possibilities are endless.
