History
The Star Theater, known for it's slogan "Always a good show, sometimes a great one", opened between 1913 and 1917, as a single-screen movie theater in Historic Downtown Toccoa.
In the early days of silent pictures, there would have been a pianist playing along to whatever movie was being shown at this beloved star venue. Later, as technology improved, a record player would have taken on this role.
Today, the Venue at the Star Theater serves as the original historic downtown destination of Toccoa wedding venues.
Amenities
After an extensive restoration process in 2016, The Venue at the Star is now equipped with all the modern amenities for an event venue, including heating and air, free wifi, a prep kitchen, and a built-in home theater sound system. With its historic detail and charm, it stands out among Toccoa wedding venues, making it an ideal choice for any event.
